
Carrot Cake
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ginger
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 1/4 cups applesauce
- 4 large eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 4 large carrots
Cake
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1/2 cups unsalted butter
- 4 cups powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla

Recipe Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F. Grease a 9×13 pan.
- Stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and salt.
- In Artiste, mix together oil, eggs, brown sugar, white sugar, applesauce, and vanilla. Grate the carrots with the slicer shredder. Mix in until well combined.
- Pour dry ingredients into wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Pour the cake batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool.
- In Artiste, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add butter and mix again until smooth. Add in powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until combined.
- Frost cooled cake.
