With dough hook in place, add warm milk, yeast, honey, butter, and about 1-1/2 cups of flour into the mixing bowl. Use the “M” switch to incorporate.
For enhanced flavor and texture allow the batter to sit for 15-30 minutes, until it becomes bubbly.
Start the mixer on Speed 1 and slowly increase to Speed 2. Add remaining flour, a little at a time, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Continue kneading at Speed 2 for -8 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic.
Place dough in an oiled bowl and cover. Allow to rise until doubled in size.
Punch dough down, shape into a nice loaf and place in a greased loaf pan. Cover and allow to rise one more time until doubled.
Bake at 350ºF for 30-40 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 190ºF.
