Nutritious White Cinnamon or Dinner Rolls

  • 3 cups Unbleached flour (more will be needed)
  • 1/2 cup Buttermilk powder or powdered milk
  • 1/4 cup Potato flour
  • 3 Tbsp SAF instant yeast
  • 3 cups Warm water (approx. 115°)
  • 1/2 cup Honey
  • 1/2 cup Canola oil
  • 3 Eggs (slightly beaten)
  • 2 Tbsp Sea salt

Recipe Instructions

Use dough hook to thoroughly mix flour, milk and yeast. Add water, honey, oil, eggs and salt. Continue to add extra flour until dough starts pulling away from sides of bowl but not from bottom. Dough will be sticky. Knead on speed 1 for 5 minutes or until gluten develops. Put in large greased bowl and let rise until double in size.

Cinnamon Rolls:

Roll dough into rectangle, 1″ thick. Spread with softened butter, Brow sugar, sweet spice or cinnamon blend. Loosely roll dough, starting with long side. Cut 1 1/2″-2″ slices with dental floss. Place on parchment lined cookie sheet. Let rise until doubled. Bake at 350° for 20-25 minutes. Frost while warm.

Dinner Rolls:

Shape into golf ball sized balls. Place 24 rolls on a parchment lined cookie sheet. Brush with egg wash. Rise until doubled. Bake 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Cool and bag.
