Gluten Free Cheesy Grits


    Grits Ingredients

  • 2 C chicken broth
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 C dried corn (popcorn)
  • 3/4 C shredded cheese
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp heavy cream
  • Favorite toppings: cheese, tomatoes, green onions, bacon, shrimp, etc.

Recipe Instructions

  1. Grind ½ cup dried corn in Nutrmill Plus.
  2. Pour chicken broth into a medium saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the garlic and slowly stir in the ground corn. Reduce the heat to medium-low and cook, stirring frequently, until the grits are tender, about 20 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the cheese, butter and heavy cream.
  3. Serve with your favorite toppings.
