My Bosch Universal is 27 years old and still going strong. I noticed that the gasket for the blender had deteriorated and was so happy to find I could order a new one, it was in stock, was inexpensive and delivered promptly! In contrast to other appliances (like my 4 year old cuisinart food processor that had a part break — and evidently you can’t get that part any more so that’s down the tubes).

I purchased the wrong gasket at first because I ordered the one that was not for a plus. My Bosch is an older model and not a plus. Anyway, overall I am very satisfied with my Bosch and with my experience. I’ve had mine probably since the mid 80’s and it still works just fine, so I am glad I could get repairs to keep my blender going.
